Rebecca Crimmins, Amateur Australian Model, Says Tampon Assault Has Ruined Her Life.
One week after tossing her tampon at a McDonald's drive-thru employee, a 27-year-old Australian reportedly says that she has "pretty much lost everything."
The Noosa Magistrates Court sentenced Rebecca Leigh Crimmins to community service following the incident, which also led the aspiring model and bartender to lose her job and severely damage her reputation, The Courier-Mail reports.
Crimmins and some colleagues had just left work on Oct. 25 when they made a 3 a.m. visit to a McDonald's drive-thru, and decided to play a joke on the attendant after the food arrived.
"Oh, what's this in my fries?" Crimmins yelled, according to prosecutor Leanne Chawner explains.
Crimmins allegedly took the wet tampon -- which her lawyer claims she dipped in a lime cordial mix -- and proceeded to dab the women's hygiene product on the McDonald's employee's hand.
"The victim saw the wet tampon and ran to the sink to wash his hands when two witnesses claim they saw the offender throw it at his back, but it missed and splattered on the fridge," Chawner said.
The aspiring model was admittedly intoxicated during the incident and has no "recollection of touching the complainant's hand but accepts it happened," according to her attorney.
And while the tampon tosser says that people are overreacting, the victim doesn't seem so forgiving.
"She deserves everything she gets," Luke Clareburt told The Courier-Mail. "She's got no one to blame but herself."
In a message posted to her Facebook profile, Crimmins called out the media and defended her actions.
"In my defense ppl, the media have blown the whole 'tampon' incident way out of proportion. It was nothing but a prank that was in no way, shape, or form intended to be assulting as the tampon was clearly green!! If it were not for a defamatory and untrue newspaper article that was written none of this exposure would have come about. Cannot believe where some ppl get off when they do not have their facts straight!! Wowza the media really do twist the truth!!"
Crimmins pleaded guilty to common assault and is sentenced to 60 hours community service.
I think a weight loss interactive website would be a good Idea.
I want one that would send pop up reminders to remind me to drink my water. It should tell me exactly how much to drink right then...
Another reminder should pop up later telling me how much I should drink or have had by then.
Snack options should pop up based on what you bought in the groceries that week. I would also like to see suggestions for different snacks both homemade and pre packaged based on what snacks are in the grocery for that week. I would also like to see the same thing for regular meals.
I also think small exercise lists should pop up based on what you are doing... like chair, or maybe leg exercises if your working at the desk.

Neighbors in Portland got so sick of a house they suspected was an outpost for drug activity, that they took matters into their own hands.
KPTV reports that concerned residents started handing out "heroin for sale" fliers with the house's address. One of the fliers was sent to police and it piqued their interest.

A 39-year old woman, Lakeysha Beard, talked for more than half a day while on an Amtrak train going from Oakland, California, to Salem, Oregon. The loud cellphone conversation lasted sixteen hours last Monday, after which police stopped the train for twenty minutes to arrest the woman.
According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, Amtrak has no policy forbidding passengers from talking on the phone on a moving train.
In the train's car, a few passengers asked the woman to put the phone away or to stop a few times during the conversation prior to notifying the train staff. Staff members were unable to convince the woman to end the conversation and stopped the train to arrest the woman and halt the disruption.
As British newspaper Metro mentioned, this cellphone conversation doesn't beat the record 51-hour phone call by Sunil Prabhakar of New Delhi in 2009.
Sydney, Australia etiquette expert Alex Travers, remarking on a train incident in March, said part of the problem is a lack of respect for public transportation from younger generations. The U.S. woman in the current incident, Lakeysha Beard, is 39 years old. Travers said, "I'm afraid we are all in a very bad place as far as we feel about our public transport. People think poorly of it, so therefore they are getting on it with a poor attitude." He called youths "me-oriented" and said that they "do what they want to do" without thinking about others on the vehicle.
NEW CASTLE, Pa. — A 50-foot-long bridge in western Pennsylvania has been stolen, and its owners say they're baffled by the crime and have no idea who took it.
New Castle Development spokesman Gary Bruce said Friday that he "couldn't believe it when they told me it was gone."
A state police report says the 20-foot-wide span in North Beaver Township went missing between Sept. 27 and Wednesday.
The bridge was made out of corrugated steel and valued at about $100,000. Thieves used a blowtorch to cut it apart, presumably to sell it for scrap metal.
The bridge was used occasionally as a back entrance to the company property. It's in the woods along a railroad line about 60 miles north of Pittsburgh.
Bruce says he doubts the company can replace the bridge.
After appearing on the Good Morning America show and admitting to giving Botox injects to her eight year old daughter Britney Campbell , her mother Kerry faced a wave of complaints and criticisms from outraged viewers, has now had her daughter taken away by social workers.
Kerry Campbell was originally from Birmingham, but moved across to the US and is now living in San Francisco, where she enters her daughter into pageant competitions. She stated on the US TV show that to give her daughter a competitive edge she injected the eight year old with Botox injections.
She also stated the she got the idea from other pageant parents who had admitted to her to using injections on their own children, she said: “When Britney takes part in pageants, parents talk about how they have given their daughter an extra jab to plump her lips or lose a wrinkle. Everyone is doing it and talking about it. We are not doing anything illegal, and I don’t want my daughter being the only one who doesn’t have a bit of extra help.”
Officials in San Francisco acted after they received hundreds of calls from concerned views through their child abuse hotline, after which they took the child into care over the weekend, speaking about the situation, Trent Rohrer of the San Francisco social services department stated: “It’s pretty unusual for a mom to be injecting an eight-year-old with Botox and certainly is grounds for an investigation.”
Kerry Campbell also admitted that she waxes her daughter’s legs to prevent hair growth, as well as injecting her with painful Botox injections which her daughter said ‘hurt her face’. Kerry said: “What I am doing for Britney now will help her become a star. I know one day she will be a model, actress or singer, and having these treatments now will ensure she stays looking younger and baby-faced for longer. All I want is for Britney to have the best start in life, so it is easier for her to become a superstar. More mothers should do it for their daughters. I wish that I’d had the same advantages when I was younger.”
Barbara Thomas, a director with California Gold Coast Pageants said: “I’ve never, ever heard of a child getting that. It’s ridiculous. What would a child have need of Botox for? They don’t have a wrinkle on their face. That woman must be off her rocker.” After organizers of child beauty pageants denied that the young competitors have had to use Botox.
Giving new meaning to the phrase recycle, repurpose, reuse, a Seminole County plastic surgeon is opening a fat bank Friday so patients who have fat removed during liposuction can store it for future use.
Cosmetic surgeons who perform fat-transfer procedures typically transfer the patient's fat immediately after removing it through liposuction, often within the hour. Common sites for the transferred fat are the face and breasts.
Having their fat in the bank would allow patients to draw on it later, when they want to plump up body parts that have succumbed to age, said Dr. Jeffrey Hartog, whose new Liquid Gold center is next to his cosmetic-surgery clinic. "I will present it as an option to any patient having liposuction," he said.
The fat bank is a unique concept, say those behind its launch. But opponents of the idea say such centers are rare for good reason.
Dr. Daniel Del Vecchio,a plastic surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital who has studied fat transfer, is among those concerned.
"Animal data shows that frozen fat doesn't hold up as well as fresh fat," he said. Plus, he added, storing it poses "a logistical nightmare. There are better solutions."
Although fat-transfer procedures — minus the freezing — have been around for some time, they aren't too common because of their mixed results. In a 2007 national consensus survey published in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal, the authors wrote, "Unfortunately, the clinical optimism expressed by the proponents of the procedure has not been corroborated by objective scientific assessments."
The difficulty lies in the fact that human fat is harder to control than synthetic fillers, including implants. Once relocated, some of the transferred fat absorbs. Just how much is tough to predict. Physicians take an educated guess, but if they over-fill, they leave a lump; under-fill, and they need to add more.
Without fat in the bank, if a patient needs more fat in the transferred site, then a repeat liposuction procedure, which requires anesthesia, is necessary, said Hartog.
"Fat banking takes this [procedure] to a whole new level," said Hartog. "We put the patient to sleep once. Do the lipo. Get the fat out once and have as much as we need for later injections."
Del Vecchio says he would still rather harvest the fat and use it when it's fresh. "You only need 30 to 50 cc's for a facial procedure. You can always find that somewhere on a woman's body. And that's the best bank of all."
At Hartog's new center, once fat is harvested through liposuction, it's drained, cleaned and put in containers for freezing.
Though Hartog declined to state specifics because it's a "patented process," he said he then adds "protectants" to the fat and puts it into a slow freeze, ultimately taking the fat to minus 192 degrees Celsius, a very deep freeze, where the fat tissue can stay for the patient's life, he said.
The cost to store 250 to 300 cubic centimeters of fat, which would fill a coffee cup, is $900 for the first year and $200 a year after that, he said.
Dr. Stephen Baker, associate professor of plastic surgery at Georgetown University, also has serious reservations about the banking and reuse of frozen fat.
"No good data exists to substantiate the fact that frozen fat does well or is metabolically viable," said Baker.
Hartog cited a study published in 2005 in the Annals of Plastic Surgery. It looked at optimal freezing and thawing conditions for fat tissue, and stated that "longer storage times may be harmful" and concluded that the study didn't answer the question of whether the body would accept the tissue.
Another paper published in 2007 in Cryobiology found that freezing fat tissue "may become a real option after further refinements."
Baker also registered concern about the potential for error in what is essentially a privately run tissue bank. "Even in the best-run tissue banks, which require multiple layers of tissue identification, humans make mistakes. If a patient gets the wrong fat injected, the results could be serious," said Baker.
Hartog says his center complies with the Food and Drug Administration guidelines for tissue banks and is under FDA oversight.
Still, said Baker, "To do this for an elective procedure is really putting yourself at risk. Even if a procedure doesn't work, it above all has to be safe."
I believe the wide availability of information will affect education in a major way. The simple fact that I am able to turn in class work any time of the day is proof of this. It all comes back to the Internet, because more and more people are able to almost instantly access the internet education can take place any place any time, this was not the case in the past.
The entire news industry will have to step their game up, they will have to find their niche in the market and use this wealth of information available on the Internet to their advantage. As an example I believe local news stations should focus on covering any and everything in their city and offer up close in depth coverage on all that seems to interest their viewers, using the Internet in their efforts or they will struggle to make it.
I believe the game of politics will become worse than it already is because politicians will use the Internet to spread their negative opinions about their candidates instead of using it to come up with the best solutions to solve the problems for their districts. I do believe the wide availability of information will force politicians to be more accountable for their actions, but as long as the whole world of politics remains divided the wide availability of information will do little to positively affect the growth of politics in America.
Society in general will be affected in many different ways. Some people will become inspired and use the wealth of information to do a number of positive things in all areas of study and even to help their own communities. Others will use it to rob and wreak havoc on consumers, the general public and even other countries, but the majority of society will use the wealth of information available online to complete daily tasks in their life, at home or work to improve the overall quality of the efforts they put forth.
I really enjoyed this weeks lesson in CSS. I like the fact that we were instructed to create our own tutorial like web page, because I have something to look back on while creating other documents. I would like to practice using different colors for the background to my web pages, and different colors and fonts for my headings.
Now I would like to learn how to make pictures wrap around text, how to add bullet lists to my text, and how to add borders to my web pages.
A 46-year-old father of three has admitted to court officials that he attacked a teen boy who killed off his "Call of Duty: Black Ops" character.
Mark Bradford, of Plymouth, England, became unhinged after his character was murdered, but also because he said the 13-year-old who took the shot called him a name. The two were playing the game over the Internet, and using microphones to talk.
Bradford knew where the boy lived, stormed over to his house and grabbed the boy's throat with both hands, according to the youngster's mother, who came to his rescue, says a report in The Mirror. The boy had some scratches, but was unharmed physically.
"It wasn’t malice. I just grabbed him. I’ve seen him since and apologized. The injuries weren’t that bad but I do regret it," Bradford told the court Thursday.
Bradford's attorney, Tracey Baker, said her client "just lost it," but that the attack wasn't planned, said the Plymouth Herald.
What is planned is an Oct. 24 sentencing hearing for Bradford, who was released on bail.
Said the boy's mother to The Mirror: "It’s pathetic that a grown man would attack a defenseless child like this. If you can’t handle losing to a child then you shouldn’t be playing games."

Affairs may do more than break hearts — they may break penises as well, a new study says.
Sex outside marriage, and sex that occurs under out-of-the-norm circumstances, may increase the risk of penile fractures, said study researcher said Dr. Andrew Kramer, a urologist at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
The heightened risk appears to be due to the unconventional situations, and consequently, locations, surrounding sexual acts, the researchers said. Men in the study who had suffered penis fractures commonly were having sex in unusual settings, including in restrooms or at work, when the injury occurred. The majority were having extramarital affairs.
In such atypical situations, sex may be rushed and involve unusual or awkward sexual positions, Kramer said.
"All these factors could make the man less able to protect his penis from an unexpected sudden downward thrust leading to the fracture," Kramer said.
'Broken' penis
A penile facture, or "broken penis," is an injury that occurs to the erect penis. There are no bones in the penis; the "fracture" refers to tearing or laceration of a fibrous membrane called the tunica albuginea, which surrounds the spongy tissue in the center of the penis.
A "fracture" is followed by hemorrhaging, swelling and loss of erection. While previous research has focused on the physiological mechanism of the facture, and how to surgically treat it, no study has looked at exactly what men were doing when they broke their penises. Kramer's study aimed to fill this gap.
Kramer studied 16 cases of penile fractures treated at the University of Maryland Hospital between 2004 and 2011. He reported the findings in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.
Half of the patients were having extramarital affairs, the study found. Most were having sex in unusual places, including bathrooms, cars and elevators. Only three patients were having sex with their own wives in their own bedrooms, Kramer said.
Sex can be risky
While penile factures are rare occurrences, they may be underreported due to the potentially embarrassing circumstances surrounding the injury, Kramer said.
Kramer cautions that, just as with sports, sex can come with risk of injury.
"If you're having acrobatic sex…you do have to be careful," Kramer said. "If you are doing something in a weird position or a weird situation…you do have to be careful of fracturing the penis."
A teacher who tricked her former beau into thinking he was a father by e-mailing him pictures of someone else's baby has been kicked out of the classroom for two years.
Victoria Jones, of Wales, kept up the deception for two years by sending her boyfriend 82 pictures of a friend's infant she stole from Facebook, the BBC reports.
The hoax was an elaborate plot to get revenge on Daniel Barberini for dumping her, according to The Daily Mail.
Jones claimed she had relocated to Australia with the little girl, making it difficult for Barberini to see Jones -- or their fictional daughter -- in person. The former boyfriend believed the girl's name was Keira and that she had a twin brother with Down's syndrome who died shortly after birth, The Daily Mail notes.
But all the while Jones continued to teach four- and five-year-olds in a Newport, Wales primary school, The Telegraph reported.
The baby pictures actually belonged to Jones' friend Sarah Jensen. They showed Jensen's daughter as a newborn, at her first birthday and celebrating Christmas.
The spiteful ploy fell apart when Barberini shared the images with a friend who recognized Jensen's toddler, according to reports. The friend told Jensen and the outraged mom called the police.
Police said nothing criminal took place, but upset parents flooded the school with complaints. At a hearing last week a disciplinary board meted down the two-year teaching ban.
A 600-year-old dog eating festival in Qianxi, China was banned this week after a massive social media outcry called for its cancellation. Fifteen thousand dogs are slaughtered annually at the festival, which commemorates a battle fought in the town. Before the battle, an invading army killed all the dogs in the town of Qianxi to prevent being exposed by barking dogs. After capturing the town, the army ate the dog meat to celebrate.
From then until the '80s, the dogs were killed immediately before being cooked and served. Then the Chinese government intervened and banned on-site butchery. But the practice began to creep back into the festival over the past few years. Pictures of carnage from the dog eating festival made their way on to the internet, incensing thousands. This year, many of them took to the internet to call for the festival to be banned. The Chinese government reacted by banning the festival.
According to Global Post, sympathy for dogs has increased markedly among the Chinese over the past few decades; keeping them as pets was banned during the Cultural Revolution, but rates of ownership have risen since then.
There have been some calls for a total ban on eating cats and dogs in the country, it remains both common and socially acceptable. It's possible, though, that this recent move could signal a further shift in government sentiment towards the side of a ban; rumors of such a ban started to escalate as early as June.
Malcolm Brenner, 60, wrote "Wet Goddess," a new book about a man's nine-month sexual relationship with a dolphin -- an affair that bears "a striking degree of resemblance" to his own interspecies romance.
The author claims he started his relationship with a dolphin named Dolly back in 1970, when he was in his early 20s. Brenner was a sophomore at New College of Florida in Sarasota. A writer hired Brenner to take photographs for a children's book about the dolphin show at an amusement park in nearby Nokomis. He was given free access to the park and introduced to the staff.
If Brenner is to be believed, the dolphin courted him.
Initially, "she became more and more aggressive," said Brenner, who lives in Punta Gorda, Fla. "She would thrust herself against me."
But over time, Dolly became more gentle, he claimed.
"I found that extraordinarily erotic," Brenner said. "It's like being with a tiger or a bear. This is an animal that could kill you in two seconds if it wanted to."
After about nine months, the Floridaland amusement park was sold to become housing.
His college sweetheart was shipped off to an oceanarium in Gulfport, Miss., while he said he enrolled in Evergreen State College in Washington.
The Huffington Post has been unable to verify his account of the affair with Floridaland officials; the park closed in 1971. However, historical photos and archival brochures indicate there was a "Porpoise Pool" attraction at Floridaland.
"I had every intention of going to visit the dolphin when I got back to the South, but it didn't work out that way," Brenner said. "I learned the hard way that dolphins are chattel, and much more emotionally vulnerable than I had ever imagined."
Brenner said Dolly died about nine months after the last time he saw her.
"I had a vivid dream at the time about dolphins dying in a dark environment which proved to be remarkably similar to the oceanarium where she actually died," Brenner said.
"Glorifying human sexual interactions with other species is inappropriate for the health and well being of any animal," Herzing told HuffPost. "It puts the dolphin's own health and social behavioral settings at risk."
But Brenner insists his relationship did not harm the dolphin.
"Some people find it hard to imagine that I wasn't abusing the animal," Brenner said. "They didn't see me interacting with the dolphin. They weren't there. These creatures basically have free will."
Brenner points out that some researchers have argued dolphins should be considered "non-human persons," because of their intelligence.
"What is repulsive about a relationship where both partners feel and express love for each other?" Brenner asked. "I know what I'm talking about here because after we made love, the dolphin put her snout on my shoulder, embraced me with her flippers and we stared into each others' eyes for about a minute."
"This was not some dog trying to hump my leg, okay. This was a 400-lb. wild-born female dolphin. She was an awesome creature."
"As self-aware mammals, dolphins are capable of making profound emotional attachments to other dolphins and, apparently, to selected humans as well," Brenner said. "A dolphin can die of loneliness, of a broken heart, of separation anxiety."
As evidence of his claims, Brenner points to the story of former trainer turned animal rights activist Richard O'Barry, who said he watched a dolphin living in captivity commit suicide in his arms.
He's not married, but Brenner said he has two ex-wives who knew about his fling with Dolly.
"Neither one objected," Brenner said.
His daughter from his first marriage even designed the book cover.
Brenner, who is now a freelance writer and photographer, started writing "Wet Goddess" in 1973 at the suggestion of Dr. John C. Lilly. Excerpts were published in the 1974 anthology "Mind In The Waters" and Penthouse, according to Brenner.
"I was still too emotionally raw from the experience and my writing skills were inadequate to the task," Brenner said.
He took it up again in 1994, finished the novel in 2000 and spent the next 10 years trying to get it published. Brenner said he shopped it around, but after "mainstream" publishers rejected "Wet Goddess," he decided to self-publish the book last year.
So far he has sold about 230 paperback copies and 20 e-books. Vendors sell it for $16.95 on Amazon.
"I wrote this book for dolphins because we are mistreating these animals by keeping them in captivity," Brenner said. "We should be attempting to communicate with them and treating them with more respect and dignity."
Brenner said he might consider another relationship with a dolphin in the future.
"Under the right circumstances I would if I had the energy for it," Brenner said. "I'm 40 years older now."
The Internet has effected media in a huge way. This is a very important topic because the Internet has effected media by forcing all the different outlets to prove their relevance. If they fail to prove their relevance they face extinction to new and emerging technologies.
All media is at risk, Television and Movie studios, News Papers, Book Publishers, Magazines, the Music Industry, Radio Stations, and even Phone Companies have to constantly compete with the Internet. I believe all this competition exist for two reasons lack of time and money. People are very busy these days, those that have a job are really doing work that should be divided between two or three people. Those that do not work outside the home are working full time in their households or they're working full time looking for full time work, and in this economy everyone is or should be trying to save money no matter which side of the line they stand on.
When it comes to the consumer to major media sources like Television and Movie studios, News Papers, Magazines, and Radio Stations, many find themselves to busy to stick to the schedules these different media outlets provide. Many people like to watch their favorite TV show or movie, read their favorite News Paper, Book or Magazine and even listen to their favorite songs or radio show live on the Internet or catch the podcast later on their own schedule. This is a huge set back for the media as a whole, because it is impossible to provide this type of a service without the Internet. Another huge set back is the fact that people want to receive their favorite type of media on their own terms for free. If these different media outlets don't figure out how to accomplish this they may lose a big number of consumers to new and emerging technologies (technologies that use the internet of course). Phone Companies face stiff competition from new online services like Vonage that offer comparable telephone service for half the price, so these companies have to come up with better plans or they too may be facing some hard times.
Of all the different media outlets, it seems the Music Industry and Book Publishers have taken the biggest hit when it comes to defending themselves against the Internet. The Internet has changed the way people receive and listen to both books and music. These days more and more are moving to eBooks or books that can be read on their handheld devices like a Kindle, Ipad, Ipod, or smart phone. People have purchased CD's for a long period of time, but when the Internet became popular someone figured out how to share the music they had purchased which was great right??? This is what everyone thought, but no one could imagine what this would do to the Music Industry. If music sharing didn't become so popular I don't believe the Music Industry would have taken such drastic steps to punish the few that have been caught sharing their music. People think that just because they have purchased the CD that it is theirs but it is not. The music on that CD has an owner, and that owner is the only one who has the right to either share or charge for their music. Because file sharing has almost destroyed an entire industry I believe the Internet has had the largest (negative) effect on the Music Industry.
The Internet has forever changed the way we communicate with one another. It has opened up the world so someone in the U.S. can communicate with someone in Japan without having a phone line or the other person’s address. This is the main reason the Internet became so popular, but in the process the Internet has virtually cut off physical time spent with other friends and family, because it’s just too easy to send a quick email. It is said that with the growth of technology the American population has become increasingly lazy (for lack of a better word). People have all kinds of reasons for not wanting to call a loved one…maybe they don’t have the time or they feel the person may talk too much? Many will often choose to email or text close friends and family members, because they feel they can “multitask” and do other things at the same time. I believe email and the Internet in general has pushed us all away from friends and family, because it's just easier to send a quick email, Facebook message or Twit pic. When communicating with friends and family members who live across the country I feel Skype is a great option because it’s free, but Skype too is often abused and used for the wrong reasons.
Most Internet friendships are as cheap as they get, most of these so called friends are only your friends because of work, school or another friend. Who truly has two to five hundred friends? Often times these “friends” only want to poke around your page, and may have no real interest in who you are as a person.
While at work I have never had the experience of receiving a forwarded email from a colleague that was meant to be private; but in the past I have noticed people recalling emails they didn't mean to send out. At that point it was too late, the email had already been sent. Often times I would notice the recall email first and after reading it, I can remember feeling an immediate desire to view the original email. Many times the recalled email is what actually brought my attention to the original email.
Facebook Find Reunites Mother and Son After 12 Years
A boy who was only 5 years old when he was taken in 1999 was reunited with his mother on Sunday for the first time in 12 years -- thanks to Facebook.
In 1999, Kattia Liebers was mired in a bitter custody dispute with her husband in her native Costa Rica. And when her husband fled the country, he stole a part of Liebers' life, she told Philadelphia's Fox 29.
"He told me, 'I’m going take your son away from you. I’m going to destroy you,'" Liebers told Fox 29's Chris O'Connell. For years she searched for Jared, unsure where her husband had taken the boy.
"I was crying every day. I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep," she said.
More than a decade later, the wait is over -- and her life has changed once again. This time, it came by way of a single message on Facebook.
"Hi, is this Kattia Chacon Sanchez by any chance?" the original message asked.
"Who is this?" the mother said she replied.
"I'm Jared Liebers," came the reply.
"If you're Jared Liebers, I'm your mom, and I love you very much," Kattia wrote back.
Jared Liebers had found his mom.
Jared had been living with his father in Israel; on Sunday the 17-year-old moved back to the United States to be with his mother.
Through the years, Kattia kept all of Jared's pictures and toys. And among Jared's current possessions? A book of Spanish words his mother gave him.
Kattia Liebers actually kept her married name so her son would be able to find her after all these years, Fox 29 reported.
Today Jared Liebers is enrolled in North Penn High School in Towamencin Township, Pa. -- and looks forward to catching up on half a lifetime.
